Buddy System

We are replacing the Mentor System with a Buddy system.

Before we leave the club, the group should identify runners who are not sure about the route or are new to the club. Before we start, the group as whole agrees one or more people to run with those people. This will have to be done by each group, each week.

To assist with this we will have coloured bibs for each of the Short, Next shortest and medium routes. There will be no buddy or mentor for the Long route. This will place an additional responsibility on the bib wearer to know the route. Short Orange, Next Pink, Next Green.

So each week I will give out 6 coloured bibs to each group and they decide who is new/not from the area/unsure of the route and give out bibs accordingly. This will mean all route runners should have someone in the sub group with a bib on that they can follow.
